After more than a year of being cooped up in your house, you may have realized all that is lacking. It could be out of date appliances, a restrictive layout, a lack of space or a myriad of other issues that made you want a new home, but whatever it is, it matters. The only problem is the used home market right now is highly competitive and many are settling for a house that doesn’t check their boxes out of necessity. Your desire for a home that fits your needs and lifestyle isn’t too much to ask for, and thankfully, when using a firm like Spaces Renewed, you can receive just that.
There can be a mental block when considering a newly constructed home out of fears about an unrealistic budget and the stress of dealing with a contractor looms. The countless decisions you’ll have to make can feel overwhelming, but through our years of experience, we’ve learned the firm you choose can make all the difference to client satisfaction. We offer a fully-integrated approach that keeps you in touch with your contractor, designer and other key team members throughout the process. As a husband-and-wife-owned design, renovation and home-build firm, and as homeowners ourselves, we understand the factors that go into this scale of project, and our helpful, insightful and tailored approach can put you in your dream home sooner, and for possibly less, than you may have thought possible.
Every project we touch is an opportunity to forge lasting working relationships and benefit from positive word of mouth. In fact, we derive plenty of business from our clients spreading the news about Spaces Renewed, so we know the benefits a good reputation can have for us. However, the most important thing is the peace of mind you can receive when working with us. Our clients and the industry have taken notice and our work has been featured in Home Builder Digest, Home Bunch, Houzz Magazine. Beth Booth, co-owner of Spaces Renewed, also was interviewed by SDVoyager to discuss insights from her time in business. Modern Luxury Magazine also attended one of our open house events.
Beyond positive press coverage, we are equally proud of what our actual clients have to say:
“We are extremely happy with our remodel, thanks to Spaces Renewed. Marshall and Beth are so passionate about what they do, and that passion produces amazing results. Their planning and attention to detail were evident from the day we met them and continued throughout our entire project. The SR crew of professionals and tradespeople were all respectful, friendly, and communicative, which made it just a bit easier for us since we continued to live in our house during the entire 4-month process.”

Design + Build, Integrated + Elevated
We begin our process where it should start, at the beginning. That means we need to consult with you. When health guidelines allow, we would love to visit you at your current residence which helps us begin to learn more about you and what you ultimately want from the project. While we are consulting, we’ll have you complete a comprehensive assessment which was strategically designed to efficiently learn as much as we can about you as it pertains to the project. This also can help you figure out what is most important for you in your new home. We’ll also take time to begin outlines a project timeline and budget estimate.
After we’ve completed the consultation, we’ll advance to the design phase, which is where many of our customers exclaim our value. This is in part because of our use of sophisticated design and project management software. We find that the 21st century approach requires a clearer visual guide to prospective home buyers, so our software allows you to move beyond two-dimensional blueprints and benefit from a fully-rendered, three-dimensional model. You’ll be able to visually tour your home and make changes on the fly. These real-time changes instantly come into effect in the software, and you are able to almost instantaneously see the effects a change can have on other aspects of the design. This process is sleek and efficient.
As we solidify your layout and design, we are ready to begin the planning phase, where all efforts work to make the building process simple and clear. You’ll spend this time in communication with the team and finalizing disclosures and other relevant matters. We’ll take this time to special order and schedule delivery of materials needed for the project. We also perform quality checks on the materials and work to make sure deadlines are met.
Managing every step until now doesn’t matter if the building process is clunky or disorganized. Where some firms largely walk away from the building phase, we make sure our talented staff and trusted subcontractors are there to perform your work and make sure your plans are implemented. Gone are the worries of tradesmen cutting corners to speed up the process or to just pass an inspection. If alternatives need to be discussed, we’ll be right there to help you make an informed and stress-free decision.
We Look Forward to Hearing From You
