Design + Build, Integrated + Elevated
Using our Design + Build project process means you’ll be plugged in to your team as we present clear and effective communication. Our project involves four essential steps carried out by a single team of designers, architects, constructions and spatial specialists.
We love when we get the opportunity to step out of our office and into your home, and that happens with consultation. While you’re considering a custom build project, we want to conduct a thorough assessment that helps us learn from you and provides direction about your overall goals for the project. We’ll take this time to gain an understanding of your preferred style and taste preferences while we also answer whatever questions you may have. We can discuss various components of the project including scheduling and budget considerations. This first stage helps us build a rapport with you and helps you start from a position of considerable engagement.
With our “hands-on” approach to design, this stage plays a critical role in all that is to come. With sophisticated software, we will be able to deliver a responsive design phase where you can, in real-time, see changes made to the design. There is no need to send out notes or plan markups to eventually be captured in the plans. We present you with a 3D rendered model of the project and from there, you can make tweaks and changes on the spot. This also helps all parties involved spot potential oversights or missing details. From cabinets to countertops, floors to ceiling, you’ll have a wide range of choices to make, and a qualified team there to help you make prudent decisions. Our accessibility is present throughout the project, but being approachable during this time is vitally important, so we’ll take the necessary efforts to keep everyone in the loop.
Before building can begin, we’ll take the planning time to special order materials, arrange for delivery and perform quality checks. While that is happening, you’ll be able to finalize project plans in our management software which also keeps you connected to your builder and designer. Completing all project details and disclosures can be a stressful time, but with our focus on being present and accessible, you won’t be left in the dark during this time.
A lot of projects seem to come apart when the actual building begins. Whether it is from tradesmen making unapproved changes for ease or to meet a deadline or unforeseen complications rearing their heads, there is a lot that can cause roadblocks or unsatisfactory results. We take this phase very seriously because we know our reputation is still at stake. Using a combination of our own employees and talented subcontractors, Spaces Renewed will be a known quantity throughout this phase. We’ll carry out the plans you set forth and our crew will already be familiar with your plans. Furthermore, if complications do arise with the plans and alternatives need to be weighed, we’ll be there to serve as a sounding board and to present quality solutions.
